STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – Sturgis Police are asking for the public’s help after they say a substantial amount of graffiti was found in the Oaklawn Cemetery Friday morning. The graffiti was discovered at about 8:00 a.m.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call Sturgis Police at 269-651-3231.
The latest vandalism follows over $50,000 worth of damage that was done to the cemetery April 1 or 2, 2016.
Over 30 head stones and grave markers, some dating back as far as the 1800’s, were destroyed in the April vandalism.
