COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It was perfect weather for a marching band festival, and a perfect night for the Coldwater High School Marching Band Wednesday.
The band hosted the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District 11 Marching Band Festival. It had been postponed from October 12 because of rain and thunderstorms, but cloudy skies and temperatures in the 60’s made a perfect night for the bands and spectators last night.
The Coldwater High School Marching Band received a Division One rating from the judges, while Bronson and Quincy each received a Division Two rating. Other high school marching bands competing came from White Pigeon, Galesburg-Augusta, Constantine, Harper Creek, Sturgis, ThreeRivers, and Kalamazoo Central.
