COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – City Manager Jeff Budd says that if everything goes according to plan, work on both Pierce and Marshall streets will be completely finished within the next two weeks if not sooner.
Marshall was in the final stages of milling in recent days. Budd says paving work will go quickly.
In his report to the Coldwater City Council for their meeting on Monday night, Budd says the final structures have been replaced and all water tie-ins have been completed. Additionally, all the new curb and sidewalk has been poured.
He said on Wednesday that work on Harrison and Fremont Streets was mostly done but there were some concrete issues on Pierce Street that had to be corrected.
Also in his report to the Council, Budd says the planned 210 unit Sunset Meadows apartment complex behind Home Depot has officially received the green light to get started. He says they have been issued their foundation permit and excavation of the property has started.
