COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the final projects in a summer and fall filled with construction around Coldwater should wrap up next week.
With sewer and water pipe installation, curb reconstruction, and milling of the old asphalt on Marshall Street from Pierce to State Streets completed, crews are scheduled to begin repaving the roadway Monday, October 31. Marshall Street has been closed for over week as crews finished final hook-ups for the water and sewer utilities that will connect to the new Clemens Food Group plant northeast of the city.
The stretch of Marshall Street north of Pierce Street will also be reconfigured to three lanes instead of its current four. There will be one lane of traffic allowed each way north and south, with a center left turn lane added.
