COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Officials at the Coldwater Golf Course say the two youngsters responsible for vandalism of the area around the 18th green and of three vehicles in the parking lot Saturday night have been identified and the situation is being dealt with.
According to a post on the golf course’s Facebook page, two sand traps were vandalized and turf was torn up.
The vandals then threw sand rakes, sand from the bunkers, flag sticks and rolls of sod onto three vehicles in the nearby parking lot.
In updating the situation in a Facebook posting on Sunday, the course asked that you don’t judge people or parents based solely on the “stupid act of children”. It went to say that “In all cases of wrong doing there needs to be accountability…and grace. In this case there is accountability, restitution, and grace.”
