UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The MHSAA volleyball post season got underway MOnday, with Quincy and Bronson advancing at the Class C Girls Volleyball Districts hosted by Union City.
Bronson defeated Homer 3-0 (25-15, 25-8, 25-21). The Vikings will play host Union City in the semi-finals Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Quincy will play Jonesville around 7:30 p.m.at Union City Wednesday night. The Wednesday night winners will meet for the district championship at 7:00 p.m. Thursday night.
Coldwater begins play in the Class A Districts at Battle Creek Lakeview this evening with a match against the host Spartans at 5:00 p.m. The winner plays Kalamazoo Loy Norrix at 5:00 p.m. Thursday. Sturgis faces Battle Creek Central in the second match tonight at Lakeview.
The winner plays Gull Lake in the second semifinal match on Thursday. The championship match of the Lakeview districts will be Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.
—FOOTBALL—
The start time for Coldwater’s Division Three District title game at Chelsea has been officially announced by the MHSAA.. Game time as expected will be 7:00 p.m. Friday night. Coldwater is 8-2 while Chelsea is 10-0.
The Cardinals are hoping to deliver a payback after Chelsea defeated Coldwater 35-0 last year in the state semi-finals.
The Coldwater-Chelsea winner will play either Stevensville-Lakeshore or Edwardsburg for the regional title next week. The undefeated Eddies will host the 7-3 Lakeshore Lancers on Friday night.
