COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Volunteers for the Branch Area Food Pantry will be handing out Thanksgiving dinners for nearly 1,100 needy families Saturday, with the annual Feeding Branch County effort.
Terri Huffman from the Branch Area Food Pantry says it will be a busy day for the nearly 100 volunteers in the old Hallmark Building at the Fairfield Plaza.
Help is still needed to feed the hungry at Christmas. Food donations for the Christmas food boxes must be received by December 5.
The Branch Area Food Pantry has provided bi-monthly and weekly food provisions for needy people in Branch County since 1985. They rely totally on volunteers and are totally dependent on contributions. If you would like to help out, call 279-0966.
