COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 a.m. Thursday to 2 p.m. Friday for Branch, Calhoun, and Steuben counties .
The weather service says lake effect snow showers could lead to drifting snow at times, with snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches by late Friday. Snow covered and slippery roads are expected especially from Thursday night into Friday.
Snow could be heavier in St Joseph County. The NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the possibility of 5 to 8 inches of snow.
Kalamazoo County is under a Winter Storm Warning with up to 10 inches of snow expected.
