SOUTH BEND, IN (WTVB) – – The top-ranked Connecticut women’s college basketball team beat No. 2 Notre Dame 72-61 for its 83rd straight victory. The Huskies took over the No. 1 ranking this week after the Fighting Irish held the top spot in the first four polls of the season.
