UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City Police are looking for a man who was involved in a robbery and stabbing on Friday.
Police say they were called just before 1:00 p.m. for the incident that took place on M-60 near Arbogast Road, where the victim stopped to help a motorist who appeared to be broken down. The subject with that vehicle approached the victim with a knife demanding money when the victim was stabbed in the arm in the ensuing scuffle.
The victim was treated and released from a local medical center.
The suspect is described as being “scruffy” and tall with a medium build. He was wearing a knit hat and sunglasses was last seen leaving south on Arborgast in a red Chevrolet, possibly a 2 door Cavalier. It was also reported there was blonde female passenger and baby seat seen in the vehicle.
