COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Road Commission crews have been out over the last couple of days trying to remove up to seven inches of snow that blanketed Branch County Sunday, in what was their first major plowing project of the season.
The Road Commission says the major primary roads throughout the county were plowed repeatedly Sunday and again on Monday. Crews also plowed all county roads at least one time on Monday.
It takes their full crews between 10 and 12 hours to plow all 1,009 miles of county roads.
Road Commission officials say they appreciate all the long stressful hours the staff works during the winter season.
