MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police in Marshall are trying to determine what caused a two vehicle fatal crash in Calhoun County Sunday afternoon. Information was unavailable from the Marshall Post Tuesday morning but troopers told the Battle Creek Enquirer that 47-year-old Candy Field of Marshall died at Oaklawn Hospital about three hours after the accident which took place on Michigan Avenue near 12 Mile Road.
Troopers reported to the Enquirer that the car driven by Field crossed the center line and struck a SUV.
The persons in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
