COLDWATER, MI 9WTVB) – The Branch County Association of REALTORS (BCAR) recently held their annual Christmas party and installation of newly elected Officers and Board of Directors at the Broadway Grille in Coldwater.
The guest of honor was Branch County Prosecutor, Ralph Kimble who installed the Officers and Directors: President Debbie Lounds-Bowers, Vice-President Jim Borden, Treasurer Jami Lind, Secretary James Bowers, Directors Pam Ashman, Bruce Hauska, Joi Villa, Angie Witte and Affiliate Director Lucy Lamson.
Several members were honored for their years of service. They included: Bea Wilbur-40 years, Pam Ashman and Cindy Hobbs-30 years, Faye Schlatter and Dave Pope-20 Years, Marilyn Ostrander, John Garrett and April Warner-10 years, and Brian George and Jill Bowers-5 years.
Appreciation of Service awards for their service on the Board of Directors went to Josh Jones-Affiliate Director, John Schroll- Board of Directors and Brian George-Board of Directors
The 2016 President’s award went to Pam Ashman.
The 2016 affiliate award was presented to Devon Title and the 2016 REALTOR of the Year went to John Rakocy.
Lois Keeton was awarded her Realtor Emeritus designation from the National Association of REALTORS for being a member for over consecutive years.
Following the presentations, a charity auction was held that raised donations Back Pack Buddies and Hospice Camp Courage.
The Branch County Association of REALTORS is located at 87 Marshall Street in Coldwater and they are committed to fighting for the rights of property owners at the local, state and national levels.
