COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Bundle up before you go out this morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Branch County until noon Monday.
Wind chills are expected to drop to as low as 20 degrees below zero. The high tempertaure this afternoon is only expected to be 10 degrees.
The bitter cold air can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as a half hour.
If you have to go outside, dress in layers and cover all exposed skin to avoid frostbite.
Overnight temperatures nto Tuesday morning could reach zero, with wind chills 2 below to 12 below zero. Tuesday’s afternoon high school reach 25 degrees.
