COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Commissioners meet for the final time in 2016 on Tuesday afternoon and it will be the last meeting for three Commissioners.
Rod Olney from the first district and Jon Houtz from the fourth district lost to their opponents in the August Republican Primary while second district Commissioner Dale Swift decided not to seek re-election.
Olney will be replaced by former County Prosecutor Terri Norris, former Bronson Mayor Leonard Kolcz will take over for Swift while former Sheriff and County Commissioner Ted Gordon will replace Houtz.
The new Commissioners will officially take over on January 1st.
