LAKE GEORGE, IN (WTVB) – There really is little new information about last Friday’s fire which destroyed the Lake George Retreat.
Fremont Fire Chief Eric Hufnagle says the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office will be handling the investigating into how the fire got started but the bad weather over the last few days has prevented them from getting started.
In addition, the dollar amount on the damage is still being figured up.
The fire broke out at about 6:30am last Friday morning and it took over five hours to get the flames under control.
Two minor injuries were reported as 19 fire departments were called to the scene.
