EAST LEROY, MI (WTVB) – A 95-year-old man from Leroy Township has died after he was injured Thursday night in a Calhoun County accident.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department has not released the names of anyone involved in the crash which took place in the area of B Drive South and Sonoma Road.
They say it appears a 33-year-old woman from Leroy Township was traveling east on B Drive South when she lost control, crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming vehicle which contained the fatal victim.
He died as a result of possible injuries from the accident after being taken to Bronson Hospital of Battle Creek.
The woman who drove the vehicle which went out of control walked away from the accident. She was later located and questioned.
The accident is still under investigation.
