COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Three new members of the Branch County Board of Commissioners will get down to work Tuesday morning during the commissioners’ annual organizational meeting which will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Branch County Courthouse.
Terri Norris, Ted Gordon and Leonard Kolcz will be joining Don Vrablic and Randall Hazelbaker on the Board of Commissioners.
This will be Gordon’s second turn as a county commissioner.
A swearing in ceremony will be held before the start of the meeting.
With three new commissioners coming on board, there could be some changes in the way the board conducts business.
Tuesday’s agenda includes the naming of the Commission Chair and Vice Chair for 2017. The Commissioners will also decide when they will meet.
They have been meeting on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Work sessions have been held the previous Thursday mornings.
