SPRINGFIELD, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office say a body that was found in the City of Springfield late Wednesday was not that of 28-year-old Robert Jason Barroso of Battle Creek, who has been missing since December 27, 2016.
Deputies were called after a body that was found lying on the edge of 5th Street near 30th Street at about 11:45 p.m.
The victim has not been identified. The Michigan State Police Crime Lab assisted along with members of the Calhoun County Major Crimes Task Force.
