COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – National Weather Service forecasters say a wintry mix is possible tonight around the Branch County area.
A period of snow is expected to develop toward late evening and then fill in towards the south into early Tuesday morning.
The precipitation is expected to change over to a period of sleet and freezing rain and then rain as surface temperatures warm into the low 30s by daybreak Tuesday.
Recent cold weather has chilled ground temperatures into the mid teens which will likely lead to icy road conditions for the morning commute Tuesday.
