LOUISVILLE, KY (WTVB) – A World War Two war hero from Coldwater has passed away.
95 year old Sam Rosenberg was the last surviving member of the Company A 126th Infantry, Red Arrow Michigan Fighting Division, serving in the South Pacific theater for three years.
Rosenberg was a decorated soldier, receiving both the Purple Heart and a Silver Star. He was a member of the Coldwater High School Class of 1939, moving to Louisville, Kentucky in the 1950’s. That’s where he passed away last Friday, January 13, 2017.Rosenberg also served a State President of the Jaycees in Michigan. Services will be held in Louisville
