HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A 28-year-old Hillsdale man who was wanted on a Coldwater Police Department warrant for assault was arrested Thursday in Hillsdale County for basically being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Michigan State Police Troopers say they stopped a vehicle for defective equipment. The driver was a 29 year old Hillsdale man who troopers say was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.
He was released at the scene and a report will be sent to the Hillsdale County prosecutor for further review.
The man who was wanted by Coldwater Police was a passenger in the vehicle. He was arrested and lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail after troopers found him to be in possession of suspected marijuana.
