MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Dylan Targgert’s rebound basket at the buzzer gave the Coldwater Cardinals a 56-55 victory at Marshall on Friday night. The Cardinals improved to 10-1 overall and remain tied for first in the Interstate 8 with Parma Western. Both teams are 7-1 in the conference. Colin Warner scored a game-high 21 points for the Cardinals while McDonald’s Player of the Game Cameron Barnes had 12 points on four triples. Targgert wound up with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Elijah Harris led the Chargers on Snocoming Night with 26 points as the Chargers improved to 6-6 overall and 2-4 in the Big 8 Conference. Union City also win the J.V. game 44-30.
Quincy 65, Reading 17
Quincy was led by William Dunn with 15 points and six rebounds. Drew Deaton had 13 points while Kyle Locke had 11 points and seven steals and Nathan Karney had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Quincy is now 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the Big Eight Conference.

Thadd Herman led the Vikings with 13 points as the Vikings improved to 4-8.
Tekonsha 73, Litchfield 71
Anthony Layne led the Indians with 23 points while Calvin Blue had 15 points and A.J. Crisp had 11 points. Connor Jenkins had 11 rebounds and five assists as Tekonsha improved to 5-7.

5th ranked Marshall built a 40-21 halftime lead and went on to defeat Coldwater 71-47. Carlee Crabtree led Coldwater with 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Olivia Foley added eight points. Coldwater is now 9-3 overall and 5-3 in the Interstate 8.
