HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Organizers say the annual Hillsdale County Toys for Tots campaign was once again a great success.
Collection boxes were placed in over 20 area businesses and at several organizations.
Individuals also held toy drives to collect new, unwrapped toys for the campaign.
Toys were distributed to 322 Hillsdale County families to assist in providing 565 children with gifts on Christmas morning.
The Michigan State Police partnered with the Salvation Army to coordinate the 2016 campaign.
As in years past, the Jonesville Fire Department and volunteers from the Hillsdale Assembly of God Church also assisted in the campaign.
