PLEASANT LAKE, IN (WTVB) – Three people were injured Sunday afternoon when a pair of vehicle collided in a Steuben County intersection.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says 32-year-old Brian Ritchie of Hamilton, Indiana failed to yield as he was trying to make a left turn onto Bellefontaine Road from Old 27 in Pleasant Lake at about 2:30 p.m.
His 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was struck by a northbound 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis that was driven by 47-year-old Scott Carnahan of Hudson, Indiana.
Richie was not injured but Carnahan along with two passengers, 54-year-old Tracy Gant and 16-year-old Devan Carnahan, were all taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
The crash is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
