COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Branch County, as well as for St. Joseph and Hillsdale counties in Michigan, and for LaGrange and Steuben counties in Indiana, in effect from 7:00 p.m. tonight through 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Meteorologists expect moderate snow to spread across the area overnight and persist through tomorrow morning, with total snow accumulations of 2-5″ possible across the advised area.
Roads are expected to become snow covered and slippery in time for the morning commute tomorrow.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.
