COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As snow continued to fall Tuesday morning, school officials around Branch County changed their original decision to delay classes into a closure of schools around the area.
Around 7:00 a.m., school officials with Coldwater, Quincy, Bronson, Union City, and Pansophia Academy decided to camcel classes for the day. The Branch Intermediate School District, including the Branch Area Careers Center, and St Charles Borromeo are also closed Tuesday.
Branch County Road Commission crews have been out since the early morning hours, but had not made enough progress to gets the school buses on the road safely.
The status of of high school sports events has not been announced.
