COLON, MI (WTVB) – Two adults were arrested and two children were removed from a home near Colon on Wednesday afternoon after drug investigators say they found crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in a home on Long Lake Road.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics Team got an anonymous tip of a possible drug house.
Investigators with SCAN executed a search warrant at the home in the 59000 block of Long Lake Road.
After the illegal drugs were found, a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail on several drug related charges.
D.H.S. workers assisted in removing the children from the home.
SCAN got assistance from the Sheriff’s Department, Colon Police and the D.H.S..
