HILLSDALE MI (WTVB) – A broken tie-rod is being blamed for an accident Monday night in Hillsdale County which injured two persons.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on South Hillsdale Road near Dimmers Road.
32-year-old George Forrest Brown of Camden told deputies his vehicles steering wheel began to spin out of control. The vehicle then went off the road and crashed into the ditch. It wound up resting on the passenger side.
Both Brown and his juvenile passenger had minor injuries and sought their own treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
