STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity boys swim team put another W in the win column Thursday, beating Sturgis 98-69. The Cardinals won seven of the 12 events.
The Coldwater boys that brought home first place finishes were:Tanner Bowers in the 200 Freestyle, Paul Bonham in the 50 Freestyle, Austin Butler in the 1 meter dive and the 100 Freestyle and Jace Arnold in the 500 Freestyle.
Relay teams that brought home first place were: Austin Butler Tanner Bowers, Paul Bonham, and Josh Rowlson in the 200 Freestyle relay and Tanner Bowers, Jace Arnold, Josh Rowlson, and Austin Butler in the 400 Freestyle relay. Austin Butler also broke his own team record in the 100 Freestyle.
The boys swim again Thursday, February 16 at Charlotte.
