QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Residents will have a chance this Wednesday to help shape how the northeast block of the downtown area will look like in the future.
Quincy Village Manager Eric Zuzga says there will be three meetings at the Village Office with consultants out of Grand Rapids that were hired by the Downtown Development Authority.
Those who attend will be able to review six proposals.
Zuzga says the vacant land in the northeast block is mostly owned by the village and it’s not doing them much good right now.
Village officials want to get input from village residents. They hope that will lead to one or two plans that they can take to businesses and developers.
The sessions will take place at 11:30am, 3:00pm and 5:30pm. More information is available on the village’s Facebook page.
