COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School Stick It For a Cure Gymnastics Invitational Saturday raised more than $13,000, with that money to l be donated directly to the Community Health Center of Branch County Oncology Center. This year patients will receive brand new, medical grade bedspreads and a much needed second vitals machine.
As for the meet, the Lady Cardinals posted their second highest team score of the season at 129.125. Brooke Neitzert had a personal best score of 9.3 on the balance beam as she finished fourth. Claire Sheppard tied for eighth in floor exercise with a score of 9.125.
Erica Rodgers had the top score for Coldwater in the vault with an 8.45. Sarah Hughes (7.7) and Sheppard (7.45) scored personal bests on the uneven bars. Sheppard had the top all around score for Coldwater with a 33.05 which was also a personal best.
