COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission says weight restrictions on all county roads will be back in place starting at 6:00 a.m. this Thursday, February 16, 2017.
They were imposed for a couple of weeks last month due to the unusually mild weather during the month of January.
They usually go into effect in March when the weather starts to break.
When weight restrictions go into place, maximum allowable axle loads on all Branch County roads are strictly enforced.
Normal legal loads should be reduced by 35 percent on paved roads and 25 percent on concrete roads for all non-exempts. Tickets will be issued to violators.
