CAMDEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say a Camden man tried to ingest suspected methamphetamine on Monday as Troopers were trying to arrest him in Hillsdale County’s Camden Township.
After performing a traffic stop, Troopers say the 31-year-old was found to be driving on a suspended license, was in possession of suspected methamphetamines and marijuana and had a parole absconder warrant for his arrest out of the Michigan Department of Corrections Lansing Tether Unit.
He is said to also have tampered with evidence by ingesting additional suspected methamphetamines as troopers initiated contact with him.
The man was later lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail and was being held without bond pending a District Court arraignment.
