COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Wednesday’s forecast high of 67 degrees would tie the record for not only the warmest February 22nd in Coldwater but would also tie the record for the warmest February day ever in the city.
It has hit 67 degrees three times during February over the years in Coldwater.
It happened on February 21st and 22nd in 1930 and again on February 12th, 1999.
The February warmth is expected to last through Friday and the National Weather Service says there is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms for northern Indiana, northwest Ohio and far southern lower Michigan.
