KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – It will be a rematch with a longtime rival tonight, as the Coldwater Lady Cardinals take on Sturgis in the Class A Girls Basketball District semi-finals at Kalaamzoo Loy Norrix. Sturgis drew an opening round bye, while Coldwater rolled past Battle Creek Central 62-23.
Coldwater beat Sturgis earlier this season 56-34.
Battle Creek Lakeview takes on Gull Lake in the second game of the doubleheader tonight. Live coverage of the Coldwater-Sturgis game begins at 5:30 p.m. tonight on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB.
In the Class C District at Bronson, the host Lady Vikings play Union City at 5:30 p.m. in the semi finals. The winner will play the winner of the Jonesville-Homer,in the district final Friday night.
