ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office has launched a new direct tip telephone line.
Anyone with information regarding a crime can call 260-668-4646.
The system was developed to send information directly to law enforcement Detectives.
Sheriff Tim Troyer says the Tip line is not for emergency calls or calls of service requiring immediate deputy response and/or immediate call back.
Tipsters can remain completely anonymous or they can choose to leave their name and contact information for an investigator to follow up.
Suspicious activity or crimes occurring in progress should still be reported to 911 or by calling 260-665-3131.
