COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Interim City Manager Keith Baker says the city will pick up brush from this week’s severe wind event.
He says brush should be piled between the sidewalk and curb but not in the street itself.
The city will begin pick up in about one week, weather permitting, to allow residents time to move their brush to the roadside.
Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that while there was very minimal damage in the city, there was a significant amount of tree damage at the city’s cemetery.
He credits the lack of damage to the ongoing City/Coldwater BPU tree trimming program.
