HOMER, MI (WTVB) – After building a 10 point lead, everything went wrong for the Bronson Vikings in the final quarter as they were beaten by Schoolcraft 39-32 in the Class C Regional finals on Thursday night in Homer.
The Vikings took a 29-19 lead after three quarters but they were outscored in the fourth by Schoolcraft 20-3. Schoolcraft closed strong as they scored the last seven points of the game. Kiera Lasky led the Vikings with nine points.
The comeback victory sent the 20-5 Eagles onto the Class C quarterfinals next Tuesday at Portage Northern where they will face Pewamo-Westphalia. P-W advanced with a 55-34 victory over Springport.
Bronson’s season ends with a record of 17-8.
