COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – An Angola, Indiana man was arraigned Monday in Branch County District Court following a pursuit last Friday morning in northwestern Kinderhook Township.
28-year-old Joshua Tyler Martin has been charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer fourth degree and resisting and obstructing. His bond was set at $250,000.
Martin is scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing April 13 and for a preliminary exam April 18, 2017.
Part of the chase went through a field before it ended when Martin’s vehicle got stuck.
Articles including a safe were seen falling out of the bed of the pickup during the chase, which authorities think may have been linked to a nearby breaking and entering.
