COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The apprehension last week of an Angola man in the southern part of the county has cleared up a significant number of breaking and enterings and property thefts.
28-year-old Joshua Tyler Martin was apprehended last Friday morning in northwestern Kinderhook Township following a brief vehicle and foot pursuit with Deputy Steve Foster.
Branch County Sheriff John Pollack says thousands of dollars worth of property has been recovered so far and that the crimes may have covered three states
According to Indiana online court records, Martin was free on bond at the time after he was charged with breaking and entering in Steuben County three weeks ago.
Martin has been charged in Branch County with fleeing and eluding a police officer fourth degree and resisting and obstructing. His bond is set at $250,000.
