BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school baseball Wednesday, Bronson won the first game of a scheduled doubleheader against Prairie Heights 11-3.
First game winning pitcher Ethan Cossairt struck out eight as the Vikings improved to 3-1. Thadd Herman homered and drove in three runs. Brett Sikorski doubled and drove in two runs. Kameron Haviland also had two RBI’s.
The second game of the doubleheader was suspended by darkness after four innings with Bronson leading 9-7.
Colon 10, Union City 5

Colon scored five in the top of the sixth to win game one of a scheduled doubleheader. Larson Kever had three hits and two RBI’s for the Chargers.

Breanna Johnson had two hits and drove in two runs in the opener. RaeAnn Sanders also had two hits for Union City. Winning pitcher Haley Rivard went the distance and struck out six. Autumn Carpenter and Skyler Herman both had doubles in the second game. Herman and Rivard both collected two hits.
