UNDATED (WTVB) – There’s another phone scam being reported by area law enforcement agencies.
Someone will call you and says he is from the United States Department of Grants.
They then try to get you to give out your bank and credit card information so it can be processed for grants.
Obviously, this is a scam and you should not fall for it.
Just hang up the phone if you get a call like this.
Residents are being advised as with all suspicious phone calls, do not give out any bank, credit card or personal information.
