BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson School Board has scheduled a special meeting for Monday in order to accept the resignation of Superintendent Teresa Belote.
She was selected Wednesday to become the new Superintendent of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District.
Belote, who has been the Bronson Superintendent since 2014, will take over for Barbara Marshall who is retiring on June 1st.
There were 18 applicants for the job. Union City Superintendent Patrick Kreger and Belote were finalists for the position.
The Bronson School Board is also scheduled on Monday to approve moving forward in the search for a new superintendent and possibly name a search firm to help find a replacement for Belote.
