COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Men will show their support for the fight against domestic violence Saturday in Coldwater, as the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence holds its sixth annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes fundraising event.
Nearly 40 men took part in last year’s walk by wearing women’s shoes. It raised nearly $35,000.
Besides men putting on women’s shoes, money will also be raised through a silent auction and a 5K race.
The event is held in conjunction with April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
