BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A large sow operation that will provide animals for the new Clemens Food Group pork processing facility will be open to the public today.
An open house at the new Spartanwood Sow Farm on Slisher Road near Bronson, hosted by the Norton families, will run from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Special presentations on the processes and regfulations that were followed during the construction of the facility will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Josh Norton says this will be a huge supplier for Clemens and other pork plants, producing over 3,000 baby pigs each week.
