COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Police is looking to hire a full time police officer. Information about the job has been posted on the city’s Facebook page and at the city’s website.
Applicants must be high school graduates. A bachelor’s degree is preferred or an associate’s degree and some police work experience is also desired.
The applicant must obtain a passing score on the Patrol Officer Entrance Level Examination as prescribed by a certified testing agency and pass an oral interview and background investigation.
The minimum age is 18 years old. The starting salary is over $48,000. Top pay is over $55,640.00 after four years.
There are incentive bonuses for college degrees as well as additional benefits.
