COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Legg Middle School student Lexi Galliers took home the top award Saturday night in the annual Spotlight On Teen Talent show at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater. Galliers sang “How Far I’ll Go” from the Broadway musical “Hamilton” to claim the top prize. She also won the Audience Choice Award.
Second place in the competition went to Halle Wainscott, with Zack Orton claiming third place. The High Tech Award went to Gunnar Cornwell, with Charlie Detloff and Kegan Denney claiming the award for Best Use of Prop or Costume, and Zane Tucker named Most Creative.
The talent show was sponsored by the Tibbits Theatre and Beyond, or T-Tab group, made up of middle and high school students who are learning more about the theatre through workshops, hands-on experiences, performances, and producing the talent show.
