HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – One of the suspects arrested in connection with a Camden home invasion was arraigned on Monday in Hillsdale County District Court.
48-year-old Bobby Joe Collins of Kendallville, Indiana was formally charged with first degree home invasion and accessory after the fact.
Collins was ordered held on a $180,000 bond.
He along with another suspect were arrested thanks in part to citizen involvement after their pictures were posted on the Sheriff’s Department new Smart Phone App and on other social media sites.
The other subject was arrested in Noble County, Indiana on unrelated charges.
The break-in took place in broad daylight when someone kicked in the front door of a home in the 8000 block of West Camden Road and stole a rifle and a purse. It happened while the homeowner was in the residence.
