ANGOLA, IN (WTVB)- The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect Wednesday evening in connection with an investigation into allegations of child molesting.
19-year-old Samuel L. Lambright of Angola was booked into the Steuben County Jail on two felony child molesting counts following interviews with detectives and the execution of a search warrant.
The investigation started when Sheriff’s detectives responded to Cameron Hospital on Tuesday on a report of an alleged sexual assault of a child just north of Angola.
Lambright was being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
The case still remains under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center.
